I read this article and thought, these aren’t tricks… But clever ideas that can be implemented in to many online stores I help out with. Some we already know and some are a reminder of things we need to improve. The key points are:
- Great creative will grab attention and hold it longer…
- Ease of purchase / checkout
- Peer reviews or ratings give credibility
- Free shipping is still a winner
- Fear of missing out shortens decision making time, through limited offers or limited numbers available
- Targeted ads are more effective than generic material
